As expected, ICSI issued much awaited notification regarding applicability of 'The Companies Act, 2013' for December 2014 examinations. Students were awaiting eagerly for this announcement, which is made today i.e 18.06.2014 by ICSI, in reality all sections have not become functional till date, but ICSI by taking a step ahead and protecting students from confusion of reading two laws at the same time has made the announcement that only 'The Companies Act, 2013' shall be applicable for December 2014 and further examinations.
